De game komt op die dag naar Nintendo 3DS, Wii, Xbox 360 3, PlayStation 3. Skylanders Giants is het vervolg op Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure en maakt wederom gebruik van echte speelgoedfiguurtjes die spelers via een speciaal accessoire rechtstreeks in de game kunnen gebruiken.
